David Larrick Smith is a catalyst for growth and positive change! He is a premier inspirational speaker and thought leader that helps companies and organizations to become more profitable by helping their people become more productive. Known for his success as a salesman, speaker, educator, community advocate, and entrepreneur; David brings real world solutions, tangible tactics, and old fashion good sense to every program he produces. EXPERIENCE
Sales:
David's acumen as a salesman began early as 8 years old when he sold cold cut sandwiches on Freemont St. in East Garland Texas. His professional sales education was honed on the streets of Manhattan where he sold everything from comic books to inline skates. In 1992, with his partner Ray Mendez, David founded City SK8 (pronounced skate) Productions, an outsource marketing firm that serviced the action sports industry.
Education:
As a member of the Brooklyn College Forensic Speech and Debate Team, David earned a national title with American Forensics Association in Prose Interpretation. His personal success earned him a position as the Assistant Director for Student Forensics at Brooklyn College where he continued to thrive and help the lead the program to national prominence. David's love for education lead him back home to Garland, Texas where he was a classroom teach in the Garland Independent School District before starting David Larrick Smith Enterprises.
